Faculty Positions

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ENGLISH - MAIN CAMPUS
Tenure-track position with primary expertise in American literature since 1900; must be able to teach both American surveys. Knowledge of one or more ethnic literatures of the United States highly desirable. Teaching responsibilities include composition, introduction to literature, surveys, and special topics courses. Scholarship and service expected. Doctorate and collegiate teaching experience required. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF COMMUNICATION - MAIN CAMPUS
Full-time tenure track assistant professor position in Communication Arts to begin August 2008. Candidates should have experience in the journalism field and an advanced degree in journalism, communications or a related discipline. MFA degree required. Preference will be given to those who hold or are nearing completion of a doctoral degree in journalism/communications. Candidate will teach courses in the areas of journalism (media writing, broadcast journalism and photojournalism), public relations, interpersonal communications and web design. Experience in audio production and digital media is desirable. Responsibilities also include advising the student newspaper, The Witness; developing and supervising internships; academic advising; and other college service responsibilities.

ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST - WILMINGTON COLLEGE CINCINNATI BRANCHES
Specific responsibilities include meeting with prospective students; participating in college fairs and other recruiting activities; establishing and maintaining mailing lists and databases; and other duties as assigned. Requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree; 3 years of work experience in a customer service or sales environment; excellent communication skills; ability to work independently, as well as cooperatively; strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and to handle multiple tasks; availability to work evenings and some Saturdays.
